The risk of slipping is the real reason for which it is necessary to choose the right model of shower seat. Think about the difficulty in standing up, even if for a few minutes only, for people with disabilities.  The risk of domestic accidents without the installation of a shower seat in the shower is very probable, and the possibility to slip is very high. With the shower seats for people with disabilities it is possible to assure comfort and stability inside the shower, with a seat strong and hygienic.

There is a wide range of models, from folding seats to anti slip seats, in different colors and materials, in order to guarantee comfort and safety. It is important to find an ergonomic seat in order to allow a good level of autonomy in the bathroom.

There are different models of disabled shower seats:

  • Folding shower seat for disabled with soft treatment: the innovative technology of soft treatment, a material with more grip. What does it mean? It means that the seat, even if it is installed in humid spaces very stable and safe for people.

 

  • Folding shower seat for disabled with antislip feet: the seat, in this case, is not wall-mounted but finds its stability thanks to the use of four feet antislip, in many cases adjustable, with antislip rubber on the bottom.

 

 

Disabled shower seats: is the material important?

The disabled shower seat can be made of different materials. The most important thing you have to consider is that, under the water, if you don’t choose the right material, there is a risk of deterioration due to rust and mould. In addition to this, the material has to guarantee the highest level of hygiene and the possibility to clean easily the surface of the disabled shower seat.
