The handrail for bathroom, called also grab bar, is an essential element inside the bathroom for disabled people.

The handrail for bathroom can be also a valuable aid for elderly people and for all those who need a secure handhold.   In our blog we frequently talk about the importance of the construction of spaces accessible, for all. The handrail is a very important accessory that helps people in their movements inside the bathroom.

If we talk about grab bars for bathroom for disabled people, the Italian regulation establishes that the space has to be equipped with one or more handrails.  In particular, it is necessary that next to the sink or toilet for the disabled there is also a bathroom handrail at a height of 80 cm from the floor.

In general, it is better to choose a bathroom handrail among models certified and in accordance with the law. What does it mean? For sure it is necessary to have the CE brand for medical devices.

All the handrails of Thermomat CE certified and they have a diam. from 32 mm to 35 mm (nylon series). For this reason they are safety, comfortable and they are in compliance with regulations.
