We inform you that the process of expanding the certification of Thermomat products as medical devices has been completed. In addition to those already certified, such as grab bars, folding rails, and shower seats, sanitary fixtures and washbasins have also been added, as stated in the communication available here.

In reference to the decree of June 23, 2022, by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, regarding the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), products such as safety aids, sanitary fixtures, and accessories for installation in bathrooms are exempt from this certification, as they are not listed in Table A of the decree of June 23, 2022. Furthermore, all medical devices (CND), as per the Decree of February 20, 2007, by the Ministry of Health, are also exempt from the decree, specifically in category Y – “technical supports or aids for people with disabilities.”
